Jen Low
Speakers Coordinator (2013-2015)
Jen Low is currently a Community Advocate at Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus for the Immigrant Rights Program. She primarily works with ASPIRE (Asian Students Promoting Immigrant Rights through Education), an immigrant rights advocacy space for undocumented API youth. Prior to Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus, Jen was a Project Coordinator for local political and nonprofit campaigns supporting low-income communities of color. She also spent over two years as the Communications and Programs Coordinator at the San Francisco School Alliance, an organization that raises strategic dollars for the San Francisco Unified School District to increase access, equity, and success for all students. In her free time, Jen can be found volunteering for human rights causes, working with refugee families from Burma, and singing in a rock band. Jen is a Bay Area native and obtained her B.A. in Politics and Community Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is conversational in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Burmese.
